So, Paul comes home from his mission in exactly 13 days...the same amount of days I have til I can turn in my mission papers {{ironic}}. I wrote him back in...oh gosh, June? Maybe even late May! It's been so long I can't even remember. Well, last semester I was going through a "spiritual funk" and the fact that he was always taking forever to respond back to me just started to annoy me {{remember, we
aren't dating, just dated for 10 months in high school}}. So, I told myself that the last 2 months of his mission I was not going to send him any emails. I would send him an email every week just to update him with life and give a spiritual thought. I would always look forward to Sunday nights to work on that email! Well...today I just got a letter from him. However, it's a letter that I apparently got back in August. Like, the first week of the seven week break. Brandon was checking our mail when my family and I were at Disneyland and it just so happened fell in the crack of one of the car seats. His dad found the letter over the weekend and my parents sent it to me on Monday. I felt SO bad! Here I was, being a stubborn little brat when I've had a letter for the past 8-9 weeks! I feel like such a horrible friend. HORRIBLE! His letter was so sweet and tender and my gosh he probably thinks I'm mad at him or something. There is no point to write him back since he won't get it in time but I am definitely sending him an email this Sunday. It's so crazy that he is coming home so soon! These two years have just flown by. My best friend is home in 13 days...BAHHHHH!!!!! I get to talk to him on the phone! And skype with him! And just catch up! I've been waiting for this day for forever...cannot believe it's almost here.
"I'm excited to see you again!" - Paul
