"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Call Me Lame.

I've really turned into a "couch bed potato" and love being home! Again, maybe it's because I'm going on a mission and my idea of a "college life" is starting to turn into doing homework all day long? Or maybe I'm just avoiding boys at all costs because the ones that I am interested in aren't even here? Plus, what is the point of starting any sort of relationship here in Rexburg when a) i'm going on a mission, b) i'm hopefully going to BYU after my mish and c) i can't help but think of certain guys when i'm on these dates with other guys. I know, it's bad but it's the honest truth! My heart is scattered in two different states right now...and none being here in Rexburg, Idaho.

However, I did go out tonight which was pretty fun! It was my first blind date {{double date}} set up by my fhe bro. I'll admit, not knowing his name and not being able to stalk the kid before the date made me anxious but hey, I was not going to allow facebook to ruin the surprise for me! And yup, I was surprised. He was really tall which I liked. He was cute which I also liked. He seemed super chill and was very nice which I liked. BUT, his name was Spencer...enough said haha! I seriously couldn't stop thinking about spence...it was bad. The same thing happened to me when Paul left on his mission. I think the first date I went on, it was a group date and one of the guys names was Paul and I couldn't help but think about him the entire time. Haha this would happen to me. We went to Costa Vida and then hiked half way up R mountain and hit golf balls that were glow in the dark! Well, we had glow sticks and poured it in a bag with the golf balls and made them glow in the dark ;) It was a pretty short date but it was good because I have lots of homework and tasks to do tonight!

So, here I am. Now at home. On another Saturday night :) I swear, when I come home from my mish I refuse to be lame! But for now...I enjoy it. I like my "me" time and to be able to get my homework done so I don't have to do it on Sunday's. It worked really well for me last semester so that is my goal for the remainder of my college years. But hopefully homework can be done soon so then I can clean my room and finish my lesson! Oh shoot, totally forgot about that for a second.
