Today was fast Sunday. The first Sunday of every month members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints fast for a total of two meals and the amount of money that would of been spent on those two meals are then used as fast offerings that help members in our ward who are in need. During Fast Sunday's we always have testimony meetings where members can go up and bear their testimonies. Today's testimony meeting was so good. The spirit was so strong and I loved each testimony that was given. I got to teach a class the first lesson of Preach My Gospel with Seth. However, it was originally going to be just Mike but in Sacrament meeting it was announced that
any converts or any future missionaries could attend the class. Oh crap. Haha that was pretty much going through my mind the whole last bit of Sacrament meeting when I was realizing what was going to happen. We didn't really have a plan on how to teach the now class but we were led by the Spirit and said all the right things. It didn't help that in the back row was Bishop's wife, two other sisters (older), some guy from the bishopric, some stake guy, and another Brother...talk about major intimidation! I thought it went really good though. I asked Seth afterward what I could improve on and he said I did a great job and to keep doing what I'm doing!...So I take that as it went well :) Relief Society was really good too. All the comments that were given by the other sisters in our relief society were so good! Gosh, it was just a spiritually filled day at church today haha I loved it! But now...
I'm home.
Goldfish is always my first choice of food to eat to break my fast. With a side of apple juice. Obvi. After I say a prayers of course ;) And the sweats and sweatshirt come on! I feel a nap coming up soon...but tonight I'll do my religion homework, eat some din din and then game night at 8! And hopefully I can talk to paul wall on the phone and hopefully say my last goodbye to chrissypoo before he leaves for his mish NEXT WEEK!
