"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Here's To The End...

of another great semester at BYUI :)

why this semester was SO GREAT compared to others is because of one simple thing...HARDLY ANY SNOW! like really, it was a joke how it hardly ever snowed. yeah, there were days where it definitely was fuh-reezing but other then that, it was a pretty "warm" fall semester in good old rexburg. so thank you rexburg for being nice to me for one more semester! although this was probably my most unsocial semester...i'm pretty positive i'm walking away with a 3.84, 3.89 or 3.94 gpa! hollllla! again, i get away with good grades by using the bs system: bomb every test and get A's in everything else and you walk away with above a 3.5 gpa every time. haha ohhh how i love figuring out/working the system. i already emailed my teacher asking him if he rounds grades and that since it's the "season of giving" he should and he just emailed me back saying he'll round everyones grade up if they are high enough {{mine was a freakin 89.8%}} :) haha i love being on teachers good side! plus, as long as i pull out an A- in my FDCNC class, i'll have all a's for the semester. FIRST TIME EVER IN MY LIFE hahahahaa but hey, i deserved it! i worked every friday night and spent all day saturday's doing homework and then preparing my lesson for church since i literally taught every single week. i really was a home body this semester and stayed in and did homework so it feels so good to finally be done :) dude...no more homework til fall 2013. YES! so crazy. i really hope i get into byu. i have a really good feeling about it and literally, it was a miracle i was able to graduate with my associates this semester so hopefully it wasn't all just a coincidence and was all for a purpose :)

besides grades, this has been such a humbling semester as well. i learned that i can love one of my best friends even more then i already do - abby. what a pure soul she is and how eternally grateful i am that she decided to be my roommate without even knowing hardly anything about me. like really, it was destined! our friendship is a team effort and nothing will ever destroy that. receiving my mission call was also quite the experience. a boy had my heart in the beginning of the semester but i chose to serve a mission which was the best decision i could of ever made. ever since i've had my call, my family have been more accepting of the gospel again and have even started to come back to church. that in itself is such a blessing and such a heartwarming gift Heavenly Father has given me. i cannot wait to preach the gospel in spanish to people in los angeles, california. CANNOT WAIT! i feel like now that the semester is over...it's becoming more of a reality. i'm going on a mission. my name will soon be hermana baeza, not olivia anymore haha! crazy!!! but so excited :)

i've also gained a stronger testimony in the sweet promise Heavenly Father has given us which is that we get to be with our families for time and all eternity after this life. no other church can promise that. some may mention that you will see loved ones after this life but they don't promise you it. it is by sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples that make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally. i can't wait to go to the temple and get married there one day and start my own eternal family :) my heart still aches for the loss of Jared Johansen. although i didn't know him as well as the rest of the family, i always admired him at church from a distance and could see how much he loved his sweet wife and adorable little girl. i know that tiffany and the johansen's will see jared again and i truly cannot wait until that day comes for them.

so, thank you rexburg. you have been so good to me for the past 5 semesters and truly have molded me into the person i am today. my testimony has grown stronger because of attending this great university. i am so grateful for the friends i've met and for the memories that i will hold dear to my heart for the rest of my life. if provo doesn't want me, just know that i will be more then glad to come back to sexy rexy!
