"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

Taking a Stroll Down Memory Lane

Tonight, my singles adult ward went to the temple to either do baptisms for the dead or to go through an endowment session. I obviously did baptisms for the dead (since I haven't taken my endowments out) and it was a really neat experience this time around. Tonight, it was Lauren Heaney's first time going to the temple to do baptisms for the dead! What a treat that was for her!! Tonight, I prayed that I may be able to have a spiritual experience and that things would come to my mind that I would be able to write down. While I was waiting in the waiting room for people to show up...a flashback of my first time going to the temple to do baptisms for the dead came to my mind so I decided to write down my experience again because I felt prompted too. Little did I know that I was soon going to find out that it was Lauren's first time. Because I wrote my first experience down in my journal, it was pretty fresh in my mind and it was so neat to be able to watch Lauren go through what I went through not so long ago. I watched Lauren a lot tonight; I noticed her being nervous, her curiosity, her not knowing where to go or what to do!...not in a creep way or anything of course...haha. I think what drew me the most to her was her innocence. She was taking in so much stuff and how fortunate was she to be able to experience such an experience. Now, I say fortunate because not everyone is Mormon because they either choose not to be or haven't heard of the gospel yet...but they are so missing out. The temple is such a beautiful place and I KNOW I'm going there to get married some day :)

A girl from my graduating class in high school made this comment to me today...
"lovvve that shirt!!! i lovvve how mormon's dress! you guys always pick the cutest clothes!!!! and i admire your modesty!"

That is who I am and what I stand for.
Good night
