"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

Can The Cops PLEASE Stop Ruining My Dates!?

So, tonight was my second "date" with Niels. I met his sister tonight! She is so pretty and sweet!! We all (Niels, Shannee, Dane, and I) went to dinner to the Cheesecake Factory which was way good! Of course...I didn't finish my meal because I always get too full but, it was still fun. I did feel super shy though because they all knew each other really well because lol they are all related! But...I tried to make conversation with Shannee in the car before getting to dinner so that was nice, even though we didn't talk much during dinner. Afterward, Shannee, Niels, and I went and saw the Valentine's Day movie. I had already seen it with Katie for Valentine's Day but, they hadn't seen it yet and I figured it was worth seeing again. It totally was! The movie is super cute, I recommend anyone who hasn't seen it, to see it :) But then...as we were leaving the movie theaters, Niels turned the corner and started to drive faster and the cop saw him and pulled him over...when in actuality, he drives a 1968 (or 65..I forget) mustang and those cars are KNOWN for their loud engines...so I don't think he was technically speeding at that moment but, it was the loud noise that obviously pissed off this particular cop. This cop was an automatic jerk from the beginning. As Niels was trying to find his registration, the cop eventually asked him if he was drunk since he was having "such a hard time" finding his registration...really? Drunk? Um...sometimes people can't find it or are nervous and take a while but really...drunk? So, Niels had to do the tests outside of his car to see if he was drunk..haha and he even said he was Mormon and doesn't drink! He even had to take the breathalyzer. He obviously passed and since he gave them his Coast Guard license...I think that's why he got let off. It was seriously so dumb.

On our first date, we went to the Preserve to have a nice, romantic, cute dinner and the cops came! Apparently...in Pleasanton it is against the law to be in a park at night?! WHAT THE CRAP!? Seriously...Pleasanton can be so gay sometimes. So, instead of letting us finish our food, they made us leave. Oh, and they asked for our ID also..and apparently it's like a $300 fine? Luckily they let us loose...cause that would of sucked!

Well...third times a charm, right?
