"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

I Wish I Was Home Today

Today in Sacrament Meeting back at my home ward, my brother Richie (Richard) gave a talk. This was probably the last talk he was going to give before heading off to college at BYU in the Fall. My dad told me that the talk was about forgiveness. In his talked, he thanked all of those who have helped him with his faith. He thanked his seminary teachers, friends, the elders, etc. He also was able to reflect on his life and shared that he feels that he more prepared for college and life with all the influence everyone has set for him.

Brother Hilton then sent me a text about Richie's talk...
"OB- just wanted to send you a quick note to say you would have been so proud of Richard today. he gave a great talk in sacrament meeting and ended it with the sweetest and strongest testimony. It was so cool to see him so happy and know that he was feeling the Spirit. Thanks for being such a great example to him and your family."

I am so proud of the person Richie has become. He is one of the sweetest guys you will ever meet! I've always been worried with him about the church. Out of the three of us kids, he always seemed to be the one that was never into the whole "Mormon" thing once we converted. But now, I know he's got it. I know he has a testimony. I really wish I could of been there to hear his talk. I love him so much and I miss him so much and can't wait to see him graduate in 2 weeks! I love you Richie!!
