"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

When I'm a Mom

A typical Mormon woman is a stay home mom once she is married with kids. Don't get me wrong, that is exactly the type of life I want when I start to have kids but what am I going to do in the meantime and once I have kids? I will, no matter WHAT, graduate from college. I will not have a child when I'm in college. No no no. I know that if I were to get pregnant in college, I would immediately drop once I have the baby. It is so important for us woman to get an education and a degree, even if we are planning on being stay home moms. The reason being because what if your husband gets sick? Loses his job? Dies? Then what? We need to be prepared for any situation to drop our stay home mom position and work to make income for the family. But, I do want to do something on the side when I'm a mom. You know, make some extra cash to save up or to even use for myself. There are amazing moms in my stake that are stay home moms AND manage to make money on the side.

Debbie Mitchell is AMAZING! She seriously is super mom. She owns Twisted Silver which is a trendy, urban style of jewelry. Her product line is so popular that even celebrities like Sheryl Crow, Tyra Banks, Oprah, Jessica Biel, and so many others wear it! She used her creative side and made it into something amazing. She truly is such a role model to me and I love her dearly.

Lauren Tukuafu is another amazing stay at home mom! She has her own line on Etsy and makes THE cutest headbands for babies! Her stuff is darling, I love it! But she is also a stay home mom but just like Sister Mitchell, uses her creativity to help support the family while still being at home with the kids!

I want to try and take a sewing class in the Fall. I really want to see if I even have a creative side and if I do, figure out a way that I can use it to make some extra cash. I love to work and make money and not that being a stay home mom would be boring but, I do want to do something on the side that I enjoy to do that can keep me sane if you know what I mean haha. I just want to find my own little hobby that can take stress away from me. It's so weird to be thinking about all of this but, I feel like now that I'm a member and I go to a Mormon school, who knows when I'll get hitched! It could seriously happen at any moment when I find the right guy which is exciting but so scary at the same time.
