"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Props to Me!

Kelli Barker and Mark Warren are finally tying the knot tomorrow! It is definitely by far the wedding of the year and their reception is going to be bomb! :) For a wedding gift, I wanted to do something a little different then just the typical "kitchen supplies, cash, etc". So, I decided to use the "craftiness" skills I have and make them something!

TADA!
Isn't it cute? I can't figure out how to rotate the picture but I think if you turn your head to the left then you can see it better ;) It looks easy but it actually took me a good hour to put together! I've known Mark and Kelli for a couple of years now so I wanted to give them a gift that showed how much I cared for the both of them. There is a lot behind the picture so let me explain to you why I'm giving them this as their wedding gift.
  1. I love pictures. I love going to peoples houses and looking at the pictures they have hanging on their walls and such. So, I figured that they are going to need some pictures to put in their apartment so I decided that I'd get them started :)
  2. The reason I chose a picture that they took 2 years ago is because it's always fun to have old pictures around your house of you and your significant other so you can look at and remember the beginning of your relationship. Another reason is because it ties in with the bottom part of their picture; a sentence that I cut out from a letter that Mark wrote to me about Kelli from when he was in the MTC.
  3. The reason I chose to add this sentence from Mark's letter was because of its significance. He wrote it August of 2008 and said, "And it's so awesome going in for your endowments and being able to go into the Celestial Room! Hopefully Ill be taking Kelli there in 2 years! :)" Now, they are getting married two years after the fact! So fun! I thought that by adding that in their frame could be a reminder of the dream they always had for one another; getting married and sealed for all eternity in the temple together.
I wanted their gift to be as true and real as possible because I know that the love they have for each other is true and real. I'm so excited to see them tomorrow with big smiles!

True love is the only love that matters.
