This week I went out to dinner with Katie (aka my bff). We went to Chili's (obviously) and ordered queso dip...JUST queso dip (another obvious). After, we wanted to go meet up with some of the guys that just came home from their missions because she hasn't seen them since sophomore year! Before we go meet up with the guys, we go by her house to do a quick errand. Her dad happens to be outside and asks us what we are doing. Katie responds by telling her dad that we are going to hang out with guys. Her dad then keeps asking who over and over again hoping to get some names but Katie just keeps insisting that it's "not a big deal". I then told her dad that they were my friends. Her dads response was something along the lines of, "Oh, if they are Olie's friends then that's ok". Katie then follows up and says something like, "Yeah dad, I mean, I'm with Olivia of all people so of course we're going to be fine". I love the fact how her parents trust me with their daughter and know that when she is with me, nothing bad is ever going to happen; that she won't be influenced to do something she shouldn't. Yeah, she is my bff and her parents have to love me but, they've said so themselves over the years how I've just become a different person and how they did use to worry about me and the path I would take. But now, they know that I am on the right path and that I'm doing great :)
When a Boy Covers Your Bill For You
Whether it's a date or a casual meal with a friend, I love it when guys treat for me! I know, it's something so simple but it really is such a good feeling. To me, it shows that the guy actually wanted to hang out with me so he's letting me know by paying for me.
When you see the people you know follow their dreams and succeed
I love seeing people I went to high school with succeed in life! For example, I have a friend named Alex who works for Disney! She is in the parades at California Adventure and I've actually seen her in person dancing in a parade. She is an amazing dancer and it makes me so happy that she is doing what she loves best. I have another dear, close friend of mine named Ariel Thexton. Although American Idol doesn't know what they are missing out on, she has been chasing after her dreams by auditioning for Idol, singing in a recording studio, auditioned to be on a EFY CD (which BTW the song was amazing and again, people are stupid for not picking her cause she is amazingggg), writing her own songs and so much more! I know that one day she IS going to be famous and for that...she will take me on tour with her ;) Lastly, there is a girl that was in my choir class when I was in High School. She graduated in 07 I believe but she too, is an amazing dancer! She is actually in the new movie coming out "Love and Other Drugs" with Anna Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal, and others. She is in FRONT for the dance number...how awesome! I know that she must be so proud of herself and so am I! Ever though we weren't great friends or anything but she was definitely someone I admired and admire even more because of her accomplishments!
