After, I went to say goodbye to Paul's mommy! I've only seen her one other time while I've been home for the seven week break and that's because I've been so busy and with them living in Livermore now, it's just harder to see them with the distance. But it was so nice to talk to her! I was over for at least an hour and we just talked. I loved it! We talked about school, my major, boys, dating, marriage, you name it! She had such great insights on dating and marriage from experience and it was definitely needed. She knows that I am out having fun and dating other guys while her son is on his mission but she honestly encourages me to date! Ha! I know, seems a little far sketch but she has been in my exact position before. She dated this guy, waited for him on his mission, then married him. The marriage didn't end up working out but one thing she told me that I found so insightful was that just because I fell in love with a boy before he went on his mission...does NOT mean that I'm going to still be in love with him when he gets back. People change, grow up and grow apart. You can't force the love to still be in the relationship if it's not meant to be there. Just because it was there before...doesn't mean it's always going to be there. She is such a wonderful person and I love her dearly. I'm glad that even though yeah, Paul and I broke up and I've gone on lots of dates and have kissed other boys that we can still be so close to each other and I think it is honestly because she has been in my exact position before. She of course hopes that Paul and I work out but she totally understands if it doesn't. It's great! I love it!
The BEST part of the night was when I got to see my BFF Katie :) It was my last time seeing her until Christmas which sucks but we made tonight so fun! First, we skyped with our old high school friend Brett Bower ('08) which was sooo fun. I miss that boy so, so much. He is quite the catch! I don't know why that boy doesn't have a girlfriend! Those dumb girls are missing out :)

......
Ok, not really. But kind of.
So Kitty and I became best friends in 4th grade. The girls I used to hang out with were being mean to some girl and I decided that I didn't want to be around them anymore (not even joking, true story) so I left them and walked over to the playground. When I got there, I saw this girl from my class playing on the monkey bars. I asked her if we could be friends and she said yes. 10 years later we are still friends, best friends :) So, my brilliant idea was to carve our initials, the year we met, and BFF on the playground set! We didn't do it on the monkey bars because that would of taken forever but we did it on the slide instead.

I'm going to miss her so much! Luckily we have skype or else we would die haha but it was such a perfect way to end my last night in beautiful California! Tomorrow I head out to Colorado to hang out with Em for a few days, then to Provo, then to REXBURG! I cannot wait for a new semester to begin!!
Katie: "They HAVE to have AirHeads here!"
Olivia: ".....oh my gosh they are RIGHT THERE you AIRHEAD!"
