"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

"I'm So Miserable Without You It's Almost Like Having You Here"

Our performance for THE BEST OF SHOW WAS HORRIBLE!!!

What's the point of doing sound checks if the mics aren't even going to work? I don't think I've ever had the empty, sickening feeling in my stomach that I had tonight. Just looking at the audience and seeing their blank, confused stares brought horror into my mind. People said we did good...but I just listened to the video...and it was horrible. Oh my gosh how I strongly dislike the tech people right now! Learn to do a better job on what you're getting paid for? Okay, thanks.

Enough with the venting...

My night turned out a lot better after the performance :) I met this guy, Matt, Wednesday night. I remembered him performing in Acoustic Cafe II. He did such a great job and I loved the song he wrote for his sister. So cute! Well, we met on Wednesday during the Performers meeting and he came country dancing that night for a bit. Today I got to talk to him more and we ended up hanging out after the show. He is so fun! We realized that we are two completely indecisive people so haha when it came to figuring out where we were going to eat, it took driving around for a bit until we were able to make our final decision. We then went back and forth to apartments and finally ended up hanging out in the Ridge lounge. We played ping pong, watched funny youtube videos, he played two songs for me on the guitar that he wrote, I showed him some of my solos from high school, and we laughed a lot :) It was so fun! Matt is a pretty cool guy I must say. I wish he wasn't here in the winter and was on the same track as me! Or, I wish I could of met him earlier on in the semester. He's just so fun! Oh how timing never seems to work out in my book.
