"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

"Did You Hear About That Girl Who Fainted At Jamba Juice Today?"

This morning I got back from Kelli's apt around...11ish. I wanted to take a shower and then donate plasma but Shannon was just about to leave to donate plasma. I could of still showered and then gone and used Abby's car but since Shannon was driving and I didn't want to waste Abby's gas...I just went with Shan! The only problem was...I didn't eat a good meal before going. I had a little bowl of cereal and a handful of goldfish and figured I was good to go!...

Once I'm done donating, I get up and I felt a little light-headed but that's normal for me. We get to the car and I ask Shannon if we can get a Jamba Juice because I felt like I needed something in my body at that moment. Ryan calls me asking if I want to grab lunch with him and I told him I was getting a Jamba. He said he'd come over to my apt after he was done shopping at Broulim's. We get into Jamba Juice and it is HOT in there. The air conditioning was not working and it was crowded with people - this kind of made Shan and I a little bit queezy. We start sitting in the chairs while waiting in line because we literally couldn't stand up cause it was hot and it made us dizzy.

Finally, we reach the cash register. Shannon starts ordering her drink and I put one of my elbows on the counter, covering my face with my other hand. It's then my turn to order and I say, "May I please get a Strawberry Nirvana, Original, with an energy boost please? As she is taking me order I put both of my elbows on the counter and hold the cash in my hand in the air. Shannon starts laughing at me because of how I'm handing her the cash. Shannon starts to walk over to a random table to put her sweatshirt on because it was hot. As she is doing that, I said to myself, "Oh my gosh I think I'm about to pass out...I want to barf." Shannon, still walking to the table, hears me, turns around and sees me stand up and start to buckle down. She quickly takes off her jacket and runs over to me and catches me. I then faint in her arms and she lets my body gently fall to the ground. When she looked up, the entire boys basketball team that was there swarms around me and start to freak out. The coach asks if he should call an ambulance and Shannon tells him how it's okay and how we just donated plasma.

I wake up. I notice that my hands are on something hard, along with me body. With my eyes closed I started to move my fingertips and realized I wasn't standing anymore. I open my eyes and notice that I'm staring at the ceiling. All of a sudden, I see Shannon's face pop out of nowhere and I said, "Woahhh....did I just faint??" Shannon then tells me yes and quickly asks for water. One of the workers responded saying how I needed sugar and was already in the process of making me a Jamba Juice. She then quickly hands me the drink and I remember not really wanting to drink it. Shannon tells me to drink it and I asked her, "Can you feed me?" hahaha so she holds the Jamba for me as I sucked on the straw. The worker then hands her water and she tries to give me water but then it spills on me. We start laughing. "Is it bad we are laughing and you JUST fainted??" Shannon said in laughter. I told her no and that I thought it was hilarious. I only passed out for 5-10 seconds but it all just felt so weird. She then continues to feed me the Jamba Juice to help me feel better.

A guy comes in and asks if I'm okay....really?? No. I just like laying on a dirty floor. DUH I'M NOT OKAY! Well, he tells me how I should try and sit up and when I did...I felt really nauseous and laid back down but this time, in fetal position. I then couldn't move my thumbs... it was kind of trippin me out...not gonna lie. Eventually I thought to myself that there was NO WAY I was going to be able to walk to the car. I call Ryan, remembering he was just at Broulim's which is right next to Jamba, and he comes over to help me. He walks in, stands over me, starts laughing and says, "This would happen to you." Hahahahaha! So true though! He then lets me lay down a little bit, helps me sit up and eventually, helps me stand up. I walked away pretty embarrassed.

My friend Laila made a comment about how she walked in Jamba today and people were talking about the "girl who fainted at Jambe Juice today"...great. I think I'm going to draw a little sign that says, "The girl who faints for a Jamba Juice"....that should go on the wall and win me some kind of discount, right?
