Day 4: Parents
I love my parents!! This is the only picture I think I have with just my parents so excuse the modesty :) My relationship with my parents has grown a lot over the past two years once we became members. Even though they aren't active anymore, we are still really close. I don't have a favorite parent but I keep in contact with my daddy the most. I am definitely a little daddy's girl :) I call my daddy every single day! Whether it be for 2 minutes or for 30 minutes we always talk on the phone everyday. It's usually the same conversation but it's just always nice to hear how his day is going and to just talk to him and laugh. If I don't call my daddy on accident, my day literally isn't the same. Even when I'm at home he always calls me to see what I'm doing that day haha. We just like talking on the phone! It's really hard for me to ever get in contact with my mommy. Unlike my daddy, she can't answer the phone whenever she wants to :( Whenever she's at work is when I'm free to talk and whenever she's off from work I am always either doing homework, at meetings, or socializing. It sucks! But nevertheless, she knows that I love her!! They have been great parents to me though. When I was investigating the church, they would let me attend church every once in a while, allowed me to go to Girl's Camp every summer, Trek, EFY, mutual, everything! They were really supportive in some areas of my investigation. Before they joined the church, they didn't want me to join but they knew that when I did, they would support my decision because at that point I would of been an adult and they would of loved me no matter what. It breaks my heart when I hear stories of investigators whose parents literally disown them because of their decision to join the church! Although those 4 years of investigating were hard and difficult...at least my parents would of loved me no matter what :) My parents are the best and I'm so grateful to be their daughter!
