"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Day 9.

Day 9: A Favorite Picture of Your Best Friend

I have the BEST best friend in the entire world! We've been best friends since the 4th grade. I decided to leave my group of friends because I didn't like hanging out with them anymore and I met Katie (kitty) that day on the playground, swinging on the monkey bars. Ever since then we've been inseparable. From 4th grade to freshmen year I almost ALWAYS went to her house after school. I practically lived there! We would always hang out, talk about boys, take pictures, make quesadillas, make up choreography to songs, play at the park, play with makeup, etc. I remember one day we buried some of our favorite items at the park across the street from her house. We wanted to do our own little time capsule and dig it back up in 10 years. However, I remember kitty telling me that the workers had taken the sand out to put new sand in so our box probably wasn't there anymore :( However...I think this summer we should try and find it!...you never know!! :) When we were in high school we started to drift apart. I didn't like the girls she was hanging out with and so we didn't hang out that much. That did not stop our friendship. Kitty and I are the type of best friends that don't have to see each other every single day. We don't have to call each other every day, text each other, etc. Whenever we did find the time to hang out, when we do hang out it's as if we had just hung out the day before! We get right back into where we left off on and everything is back to normal. Now that we are both in college I feel that we try to keep in contact more. She just sent me a text a few weeks ago that said, "Accept being my sister on FB! I dunno why this haven't been done yet." She is such an amazing girl! She really encouraged me to be a better person when I was younger. I can say that part of the reason why I am the person I am today had to do with her. We have always had a high respect for each other and support each other in everything we do. She really is such a gem and I'm so grateful that Heavenly Father placed her in my life! Maid of honor for my wedding? Check yes.
