"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

Good, Better, Best.

Today has been a good and....not so good day. Cuddling with Abby tonight she said to me, "It's easy to choose between good and bad but it's always harder to choose between good and good." I'm at a point in my life where I either choose mission or potential eternal marriage. Both are good choices but...what is the best for me? I know what is best for me and because of it, I know I have hurt someone. If there is one thing I can say is that if Heavenly Father didn't want me to do something, He WILL tell me. He isn't going to let me do something I'm not suppose to do. Yes, we all have our own agency and can make our own decisions but in the decision-making process, in D&C9:8 it says, "But, behold, I say unto you, that you must study it out in your mind; then you must ask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your bosom shall burn within you; therefore, you shall feel that it is right." If I think something through and choose what I want to do and then turn to the Lord, He will tell me whether it is right or not. If it is wrong, D&C9:9 says, "But if it be not right you shall have no such feelings, but you shall have a stupor of thought...". If there is one thing I have learned with everything that has happened to me throughout the past eight months is that if I trust in Heavenly Father, I will receive answers and I will feel confident in those answers. D&C112:10 says that, "Be thou humble; and the Lord thy God shall lead thee by the hand, and give thee answer to thy prayers." I need to be humble, patient, and in-tuned with the spirit in order to receive correct revelation and I know that is exactly what I have received during the past two weeks. The gospel isn't a tricky thing to understand; if we have faith, trust, the gift of the Holy Ghost, a testimony, and love for our Heavenly Father he will point us in the right direction we need to go and he will give us guidance on what we should be doing in our lives. We have the power of prayer for a reason, so why not use it? Communicate with your Heavenly Father and plead to Him on the things you want to know is true. If you haven't prayed to Him in a while or have never prayed to Him ever...kneel down on your knees, bow your head and just talk to Him. He wants to hear from you. He wants to know your feelings and what He can do to help you. He already knows of your trials, afflictions, heartaches, joys, temptations, struggles, frustrations, everything! He knows you better then you know yourself. He is just waiting to help you and it's a matter of just simply praying to Him. Please, just pray to Him and I promise you that He will answer your prayers.
