"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

Church.

Today was my first day back to the Tri-Valley singles ward. It was so fun to see so many familiar faces! I definitely missed quite a few people from the ward while I was in Rexburg. Ryan gave a talk today and my goodness he did so good. I was reminded of his sincerity and his sweet testimony. Today is Pioneer day and they talked about the importance of the heritage of the pioneers during sacrament meeting. They went through so many trials and I'm grateful for their drive, determination, and love for the gospel.

Sunday school was...fun ;) so maybe Janelle, Vern, Lauren and I had our own Sunday school but it did teach me the importance of friendships haha! We all just sat in a room and caught up with each others lives. It was so fun! I really do have the greatest friends.

Relief society was my favorite. The spirit was so strong in the room and I really learned a lot. I shared a very personal experience to the girls that I've only shared to some adults in my home ward and the two girls I visit taught during Spring semester. So really, no one knew about it but I felt like I needed to share it. We were talking about if any of us had ever felt the presence of someone from the other side in our lives. I shared my experience and started to choke up. Lets just say I'm grateful for temples and the work that is done in them. Here are some of the things I got from R.S. ...

* Faith in Christ creates a faith in things you cannot see
* Deal with life's trials, it's part of the development of your faith
* All the evils of the world is based on those who don't know who they are; that they are a son or daughter of God. It's a lack of their knowledge of what their true potential is.
* Always remember the moment when you figured out who you were
