"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Day 24.

Day 24: Something You've Learned

One thing that I've learned while being here at BYUI is how to sew! I took a Clothing Construction class and Practical Homemaking in the fall and absolutely loved it. Sewing is a lot harder then it looks, that's for sure! But, I am proud to say that I never once got mad at my sewing machine and yell at it when I was stressed haha. I surprisingly had a lot of patience with it. I learned how to sew a pillow case, PJ bottoms, a blouse, and a skirt. I also learned how to sew a cushion pillow from my Practical Homemaking class. I'm so grateful for that class because I was able to see that I have somewhat of a creative side! Or, I just know how to pick out cute fabric :) Just the other day one of my buttons fell off and I hand sewed it back on! I felt so accomplished haha!
