"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

My Favorite Saying.

Patience is a Virtue.

I say this phrase so many times in one day. I mostly say it to my friends or loved ones but...usually never to myself. I like to think I have really good patience; it takes a lot for me to get mad at someone or to get annoyed of them. However, this was something I had to say to myself tonight. Tonight was the chapel session at the temple. I was SO excited! I heard the last one was amazing and I knew I was in to be spiritually fed. We were there for two and a half hours...now that is a long time! There was a point {{I'll admit it}} where I started to get antsy. My back was starting to hurt and I had already cracked it so many times that it just wouldn't crack anymore. My butt was starting to get sore and my eyes were slowly starting to drift into sleep. At one point I found out that it was 9:09pm. I couldn't believe two hours had already gone by! As I was starting to complain in my mind, I remembered this talk that was in one of the Ensign's at the Rexburg temple that I once read. It was this girl who went to the temple and had been there for...I want to say about 4 hours. She was starting to lose her patience until she started to think about the people she was doing the work for. She realized that some of these people were waiting for hundreds of years to get their work done and how she was getting antsy on just waiting for four hours. As I remembered that story I thought to myself, "Olivia, patience is a virtue." I did confirmations for someone born in 1670! If I had to wait for 6 hours in the temple to do the work for them...I would of done it. One hundred percent. They are relying on US to do the work in their behalf! They need us! In D&C128:15 it says, "...that they without us cannot be made perfect-neither can we without our dead be made perfect." The work cannot be done for them without the help of us that are still alive. I love the temple. It's the only place where I can escape from the world. I know that the ordinances performed in their are sacred and crucial to our plan. The peace that I feel every time I enter the temple...I feel like I'm back at home. The temple has been such a blessing in my life and continues to be and I am so grateful for it.
