"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

Call Me Cheesy.

There is a challenge on facebook to read The Book of Mormon by the end of the year! I decided to take up the challenge because lets be honest...I read my scriptures every night but I do not study them every night like I should. Just in these past three nights...I've noticed a huge difference! Things started to click in my mind and make sense. Even the simplest things that we all think is common sense. I love The Book of Mormon. LOVE! I bought my first set of scriptures on August 6th, 2007. I was sooo excited when I was buying them. I told the lady at the register that these were my first set of scriptures I was buying!...she didn't really catch on to my excitement haha. My parents refused to buy me scriptures so I made sure i saved up enough before I went to EFY to buy some. They are pretty dang expensive for someone who doesn't have a normal paying job! But, they were worth it. Obvi ;) Whenever I start studying in a new set of scriptures, whether it be for personal use or school use, I always write myself an entry in it to let me know the purpose of my studying in that particular set of scriptures. I read through what I wrote back on August 6th, 2007...

"Dear Olivia,
On August 6th, 2007 I purchased this book. This is the one thing I've wanted for a long time. I know that this book is true and that the scriptures I read are true events that have happened. I hope that when I read this, I feel the Holy Ghost telling me that it is true. I love this church so much and I hope that by reading this i can learn how much my Heavenly Father loves me as well. I hope that by reading this, it can guide me in the right direction and remind me that I always have my Heavenly Father to pray to. And when I look back at this from now, until I have converted and when I'm a mother, I can look back at my journey and see and remember all the things I went through. I love you Olivia.

Love,
Liv"
