"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

First Hand Experience.

I went and taught a lesson with the sister missionaries today. I was pretty nervous! I've only done it one other time and it was during my first semester at BYUI. We taught this guy named Jack and it was actually the first time they've ever taught him. He's in his late 70's, early 80's and is SUCH a crack up. He was totally hitting on me hahaha! He asked me if I was ever a rally girl {{aka cheerleader}} and when I told him no, he wouldn't stop asking me, "Are you sure you never were one? Because, they were the pretty girls at school." Haha such a goof. He loves his lady friends, that's for sure! We didn't get to teach much but he told us lots of stories. He seriously had me laughing the entire two hours we were with him. He also couldn't believe that I was lactose intolerant. He was in awe! When we did get to teach him, I didn't say much :( I didn't know WHAT to say! But, they asked if he would accept baptism {{which haha I was shock, on the first lesson????}} and he went on giving his reasons and I kind of knew how he was feeling. So, I shared to him how I joined the church three years ago and how I met so many friends through the church and how they are pretty much my other family! He really liked how people are nice at the church. He even has been to church before! He dated a girl in high school named...Sally I believe and she was Mormon so he is kind of familiar with the church. He even has the Tabernacle choir cd's in his house! He wants me to come teach with them again on Saturday but since it's my last weekend here, I don't think I will because I should really spend time with the family. He was such a sweet man!

One of the sisters {{Sister Haycock}} wants me to email her when I get my mission call and write to me when I'm on my mission. She told me that my story reminded her a lot of her mom because she's also a convert and continued on with just complimenting me. It was very flattering. She told me that I'm going to be an even better mother if I serve a mission. She was just so sweet! I had a great time teaching with the sisters. Even though I felt way out of my element...I watched them and knew that I can be like them one day :) With a lot of hard work put into it course!
