"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

Giggling Like No Other.

Today was such a good day!! Classes were chill and I even had one canceled today. Did I get ahead of my homework like I wanted to? Nope. I hung out with Justin Wilcox and talking about the exciting stuff going on in our lives! Way better then doing homework in my opinion. Then I went and bought some stamps at the post office and then went to this cute little boutique by Kiwi Loco. I called Chrissy and asked her to join with me because I knew that she has been wanting to do more shopping! I couldn't help myself...I bought a new pair of jeans and this ADORABLE top! Like, I'm obsessed with it. Totally sister missionary material ;) We then went to Kiwi Loco {{obvi, it was right there!}} and caught up on each other lives. I'm so happy Chrissy is home! Our friendship has just grown so much since she's been back and I feel like it's as if she never left. I love her!

After our froyo date, she dropped me off at the lounge where I went to check the mail. Letter from Elder Vance :) I knew I was getting a letter today! With him at the MTC, it's very easy to predict when I'll get something from him. It was such a cute letter! I was dying!! I was laughing so much and giggling like crazy. He is such an amazing missionary and such a stud! His letters make me crave missionary work. I just want to go out SO bad! I came home and tried on my new shirt with my new "missionary" skirt I bought...PERFECT! Talk about cute outfit for General Conference ;) I'm excited for this weekend. I get to see Ty and hang out with him! There is something about that boy that he has the ability to make me laugh about anything. I love it. I'm excited to see my brother, Richie!! I miss him!! This semester I've definitely been a little homesick and so it'll be so nice to see him. I get to also meet Spencer's sister, Madz, for the first time!!! We've skyped once and my goodness, she is so adorable!! She actually reminds me a lot of myself, just the way she talks and everything. Then I get to stay at my friend Ashley's house!!! I haven't seen her since Sarah Reber's {{Peterson}} wedding and now with her boy home and me going off soon, we just have SO much to catch up on!

I was reading this talk yesterday for my Family Foundation class and I came to this amazing realization. Heavenly Father really knows His sons and daughters. He knows who is to be called the Prophet of His church, He knows who the 12 Apostles need to be, He knows where missionaries need to be sent to, He knows everything. He truly is an all knowing God. While I was reading this talk about same-sex attraction, Elder Oaks was one of the people to be interviewed by the "public affairs." He was meant to be an apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at this time for a reason. My heart was full when I was reading the talk. He was directed by the Spirit and everything he said was perfect. He nailed it! I'm just so grateful to be part of a church that is 100% run by Heavenly Father.
