I decided to check my school email before going to bed. I got an email from this girl that works at the Girls Locker room and she wanted to know if we should switch shifts which would mean I work T/TR/SAT 7pm-close. I was kind of annoyed when I got that email. Yeah, I don't have anything going on those days and I could take the shifts but her reasons for wanting to switch was because she has other after school activities and what not. I don't know, if you know me you would know that I am very involved on campus and have been since my first semester. This is the first semester where I'm not on Talent, Service, or Social board doing something service oriented. I had to sacrifice that stuff to get a job and to focus on grades to transfer to BYU. She took the hours knowing already that that was her responsibility and I feel like I shouldn't have to be the one to "come to the rescue" and help her out. I had to do some sacrificing so she can too. I just finished my huge assignment. Why I waited til 10 to start...I don't know. Today was the first day this semester where I really procrastinated on homework...especially since this was the only homework I had and I got out at 2...

"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

- I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
