This semester has been such a growing opportunity for me. A lot has happened, good and bad, and in the end I always remember that Heavenly Father loves us all. Someone may not want you back in their life...but Heavenly Father does. People can be cruel, it's a part of life. But when we are able to recognize that the person we can become is so much greater then the person we already are is such a great motivator to always try and be our best. It may go unnoticed, but the big man above sees it all. And just because it might go unnoticed, don't just be your best for those select individuals you secretly want to impress and accept you. Who cares about those people! Be you because you are YOU. Because you are unique and there is no individual on this earth that can ever come close to being you.
Tonight, I didn't have to work which ended up being a blessing in disguise. I really got to think and realize that even though my life can {{at the moment}} feel like the absolute worst and that woe is me...it's not true. We all face trails, that's the point of coming here. It's those trials that help us become stronger, wiser, more knowledgeable, more prepared. My dear friend Jamie shared once in Relief Society that if we were all to write down a trial we are currently facing and place it in a jar and then randomly select a strip of paper from the jar and read it to ourselves...we would realize that we wouldn't want whatever trial we selected but our own. Our trials are so uniquely given to each of us and whether we want to admit it or not, they fit into our plan. They fit into our plan because that's how Heavenly Father wants it to be. So no, your life doesn't suck. Your life is actually great. It's okay for people to have their moments of gorging down ice cream, burning old love letters, go slashing tires, and watching John Tucker Must Die when a boy breaks our fragile hearts but what's important is that we remember that no matter how much people can hurt us...we always win in the end. We win by the way we handle each situation that pops into our life. By each heartbreak we encounter. By each tear that is shed. We win because we realize that in the end, everything will be okay.

"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

- I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
