"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

The Beauty of Makeup

It's funny how much confidence a girl can get when she puts on her makeup every morning. You may wake up looking at the mirror thinking "ew" but simply remember the wonders of what makeup can do to you...so you start to feel a little better about yourself. In a way, this is the only thing that girls can do that I think some guys secretly wish they can do. Us girls, when we have bad acne, can easily cover it up with some foundation. Guys on the other hand...have to suck it up and deal with it. If you really knew me, you would definitely agree to the fact that I tend to wish I was a guy sometimes more then a girl...I hate taking showers (but do take them...don't worry!), wish I can take 10 minutes to get ready every morning, don't have to deal with periods, parents would be a little less strict with me just because I would be a "boy", eat as much food as I want without being looked at like a pig, and other things. But, could I deal with the fact that makeup wouldn't be an option? I don't think so. It's sad how so many girls can be so dependent on their makeup. I don't think I am. I've kind of learned to deal with my acne and just hope that people can see me for who I am through other things rather then the solar system that sometimes like to appear on my face every so often. On a more serious note, if you really understand and accept the knowledge that we are all created in the image of our Heavenly Father, then you can have all the confidence in the world.

The world can really be in your hands when you know who created it.
