Sometimes you go through life making goals but never really put the effort to achieve them. The reason why you don't achieve them is because you think it's too hard, you become lazy, you become too busy, or you simply just forget about it. I tend to do that quite often. Making and keeping goals can only help you more in life. If you learn to be obedient with your goals, you then become responsible for following through with your word. Right? A goal, to me, is kind of a promise to yourself. I try to look at them as promises because in the "real scheme of life"...when you break a promise, there is no turning back to fix it. You can try to start over and progress but, you lost that commitment from when you broke it. I don't want to lose that commitment in my goals. I want to keep my goals and regret nothing from it. Now, if you did break a goal, it doesn't mean that you failed. The fact that you thought of a goal and acted upon it is in itself a progress to becoming the person you want to be. People don't usually make goals for the heck of it...they do it because they want to change.
My Goals for Winter 2010
1. learn to play the piano
2. work-out 2-3 days a week to lose some weight
3. learn to play the guitar
4. be on top of writing letters to my friends on missions
5. learn the entire singles ward names
6. work to save up for college
7. be more helpful around the house
8. don't regret anything, just do it
If it means a lot to you...then you'll act upon it.

"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

- I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
