"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Like Mother Like Daughter

It's funny...there was a point in my life where I remember telling myself, "I am NEVER going to be like my mom! I am going to do everything she does the complete opposite! I just know it." Hahaha oh how I was such a brat...still am at times but definitely have matured. This morning my mom made me breakfast. She had a feeling that I would want more and offered to make me more even though I told her I was fine. She even told me how she needed to shred the meat more so she'll be in the kitchen anyways and can easily get me more. I insisted that I was really fine and she never got up...it then clicked to me that that is one thing that my mom and I have in common. We both like to serve other people. I ALWAYS try to do something for someone out of my way. This one experience came straight to my mind when I realized that common similarity between my mommy and I. When I was in 8th grade, we went on a choir trip to Disneyland. My friend Matt had a very limited amount of cash with him for food. When we went and got dinner, I noticed he was only ordering one item when I knew he was really hungry and should of order two items. So, I purposely bought two items of this certain food saying I was "really really hungry". When I finished my first item, I pretended to be really stuffed and offered the rest of my food to Matt. He graciously took it and ate it soooo fast! I definitely get that quality from my mother. She is always finding ways to serve people. She is way better at it then me lol but I sure do get it from her!

A random act of kindness can really go a long way
