"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

Ready to Start my Nineteenth Year of Life

So "technically" yesterday was my birthday, February 5th. The first thing I thought of now that I am 19 years old was that if I end up serving a mission, it won't be for another 2 WHOLE YEARS! Not fun! I wish I can just leave now and go on one. I know a woman's first calling in the church is to be a mother but, that opportunity to serve for the Lord for a year and a half would be simply amazing! I am just so grateful for what the missionaries have done in my life and so I want to be able to dedicate myself completely for the lord for that year and a half and help bless the lives of others. Not saying marriage wouldn't be amazing but...if I'm going to be with my eternal companion for all eternity...then, why get married so soon. What's the rush? There is none! So, therefore, I should be serving a mission in two years. Regardless. Haha lets see if it ACTUALLY happens..because I mean, if I do find a guy who I am suppose to marry, I'm not going to reject him for a mission. He better want to do a couple mission though! :)

I overall had a good birthday. I said goodbye to my roommate/best friend Sarah Peterson this morning and headed off to Provo, Utah! When I got here, I got to chat for a bit with Ariel Thexton and got ready for dinner. Some of my friends all decided to go out to dinner with me. It was so good! It was nice to celebrate my birthday with friends. Then I went to a party with Ariel which was way fun. I hope Provo ends up being a great trip because I know that Idaho was pretty darn good :)

From here on forth, my life will be constantly changing. It's amazing to think that I'm already 19.
