"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Reconnecting with Old Friends

Earlier this week, I got to see an old friend of mine. We have been friends since the 3rd grade when we played soccer together on the same team! Her name is Allie and ahhh we have had sooooooo many great memories together. She took me houseboating for my first time and took me to HAWAII for my first time. Yes ladies and gentlemen...HAWAII!!! IT WAS SO COOL! She works at the Dairy downtown and I was lucky enough to snatch a picture with her. She is definitely such a sweet girl and I'm glad that we got to be reconnected again our senior year. I've had too many memories with her to just completely forget about her! I love that girl :)

Tonight I watched the Amador/Foothill High School production of SEUSSICAL! It was so nice to see friends that I graduated with that went their own separate paths, to see the students still in high school that I had classes with, a few of the directors, but most importantly...Mr. Don Norcross. This man is seriously the SWEETEST man ever! I guess we started our friendship when his son Michael and I did choir. Michael is a grade younger then me and so there has only been one year where I had zero connection with the Norcross's. Actually, I knew his son before that! Michael and my brother Richie played basketball together! That is when I first met this awesome family. Anywhosers, I always see him about twice a year and it was usually at our choir concerts. Every time I saw him, he would come up to me with open arms ready to give me the biggest hug of my life, pick me up, and immediately talk about how amazing I am haha! Talk about a way to boost a girls confidence! Did I mention that this dad is at least 6'7? He is a GIANT! But in all seriousness, he is such an amazing person! He knows how to sing which is already awesome, has an amazing family, funny guy, and he always wants to know how I am doing. He always wants to know what is going on in my life and what my interests are and everything. But the one thing I love the most about this man is how he always compliments me. He always tells me how amazing of a young girl I am, how sweet I am, how pretty I am, how great of a singer I am, EVERYTHING! We've definitely had some teary moments together. Tonight when we were talking, he mentioned how he didn't want to go to the show tonight because he was exhausted from work and wanted to relax but how his wife insisted on him going since it was closing night and his sons senior year. So, he went and he told me how seeing me made his night. He said how he was so glad he went because he got to see me! You know how people say you always want to marry a guy who is just like your dad...if I could put my dad and Mr. Norcross together...I would seriously have the most amazing husband, best friend, and father to my children.

It was so fun to see other people as well! Jon was the Cat in the Hat and oh my goodness, I was SO proud of him! He seriously lit of the stage with his presence and just did a fantastic job! I also saw Mr. Norcross's son, Michael, who was one of the monkeys and my baby girl Gabby. She was SO SEXY! hahaha! She seriously did a wonderful job and haha that girl knows how to work the crowd ;)

"Olivia, I haven't said this in a while, but I really appreciate you as a friend. You are such a great example to me and I really cherish our friendship. I thank you so much for your prayers and support. I can really feel the blessings of your prayers as I study and bear my testimony. And know this, I too am praying for you every night. I care about you a lot and I plead with Heavenly Father every night before I go to sleep that He will bless you as you strive to read your scriptures and follow the commandments. You mean a lot to me, Olivia.

Love,
Elder Paul O'Neill"

Now that my friends...is what you call a best friend :)
