"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Follow Your Heart At All Times

On Tuesday, I went on one of the most funnest dates ever! This guy who I was pretty much "dating" took me to San Francisco for a bike ride! We started at the Embarcadero, biked over the Golden Gate Bridge, ended up in Sausalito, and then took the ferry back to the Embarcadero and took bart home. SO MUCH FUN! It couldn't of been more beautiful in San Francisco on a day in March. Seriously..it was perfect weather. The sun was out, little wind during the day, couldn't of been more perfect. We went to Boudin to get lunch and took it over to one of the beaches near the Golden Gate Bridge. We actually saw two of the landmarks (I guess you could say) where the Bachelor was filmed at. We saw the tower where Tenley had her romantic dinner at and the field that Ali took Jake to towards the end of their date. That was really fun! Overall, it was just such a great day.

Unfortunately, I am not "dating" this guy anymore. Something happened that night and I decided that I shouldn't see him anymore :/ luckily he still wants to be friends and if we cross paths again, we'll definitely catch up! It's things like this that I think it is so important to follow your heart on. He was definitely fighting for another date with me but...as much as I wanted to, I had to follow my heart and it was saying no. I'm just tired of hearing "I'm sorry" or "Give me one more chance" from guys and it's just something that when I feel that somethings wrong..I need to act upon it. Although, we did talk about it more tonight and realized we were both thinking two completely different things but, the fact of the matter was that something happened and it was time to move on. He is such a great guy though! I'm so lucky that I had the chance to meet him and to go on all of those fun dates with him. Because of the decision I made, it has made it easier for me to simply just listen to my heart. He's a great guy but, a great guy for another girl. Not me.

A “date” must pass the test of three p’s: (1) planned ahead, (2) paid for, and (3) paired off.
