High heels are one of the most cutest accessories us girls instantly fall in love with. I mean, who doesn't love high heels? When you strut yourself in high heels, you are putting out a statement. You are letting the world know that not only do you look good in them but that you are able to deal with the pain they can give you and yet, still look amazing. Today, I definitely had to sacrifice.
During fall semester I would almost always wear my high heels during devotional. But not only during devotional, but the whole entire day. I was always too lazy to go back and change into church clothes so I decided that I would always dress up in my church clothes on Tuesdays; including wearing my high heels. It was never a problem during the fall so I figured that it wouldn't be a problem during the spring. Oh how naive I was.
Today, I felt like my feet were on fire. LITERALLY! I'm just half kidding. It was unbearable! And super painful as well! It made no sense to me. How can my feet be hurting so much from my heels when it was never an issue in the fall? I don't think that the fact that it was super warm out helped at all or the fact that they were black heels and that the heat absorbed in them. Nah, doubt it :) But seriously, I don't think I can do that again! I'm going to have to go buy some cute dressy sandals that are appropriate for school. I can deal with heels at church but at devotionals? Hm. Doubt it. Haha.
High heels are still the most cutest accessories in my opinion. Even though I was in soo much pain...being cute has its consequences. Always and forever.
