"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

The Two Things That Suck The Most

PACKING and Finding something when you least expect it

Today was my last day here in beautiful California. Being the procrastinator I am, I didn't start packing for my journey till 3:15 in the afternoon and kind of almost finished just about now. I know, completely ridiculous but, I was watching the first episode of Glee which I missed last night and One Tree Hill during the process soooo I guess you can blame it on mindless television shows on hulu :) I'm just going to say it. I HATE PACKING! I hate packing and unpacking. It is probably one of the most annoying things to do. I don't understand how people pack weeks in advance. Like, don't you have to use half of the stuff you pack?? Isn't it more annoying to have to take everything out and put it back in your bags? I would think so which is why I wait for the very last minute to do any packing. Literally...ANY packing. But, the fun thing about packing is that you are usually going somewhere fun. I'll be going back to BYU-Idaho tomorrow and I am sooo excited! I'm excited to start a new chapter in my college journey and cannot wait to see what this semester has in store. BRING IT!

The second thing that always sucks is when you find something when you least expect it. In my case, today I found a note in my purse. I was going through my purses that I was bringing up to school and taking out all of the garbage in them. In one purse, I came across this small folded piece of paper which read, "Thanks for the help :)". I looked at it for a few seconds wondering who wrote it to me. I figured it was a boy because it was obviously boy handwriting and it was all in capital letters; a typical form of writing style boys choose to use. Then, the memory came to me. I pictured myself sitting at the Oakland Temple chapel with Niels at my side. I remember him looking at me...smiling very suspiciously. Then...it clicked. It was a note from Niels that had cash inside of it. I had to cover him for dinner one night because he forgot his wallet and I had to drive to his house a number of times because his car battery kept dying so he paid me back for all the expenses which the note wrapped around it. I didn't want to take the cash but he insisted and said he would of felt guilty because since he is the "man" in this relationship, he should be the one picking me up and paying for me - so sweet. I remember he secretly placed the note and cash in my purse because of the text he sent that night telling me to look in my purse. I haven't thought about him for a while so it just completely cut me off guard. It always sucks when that happens; when you finally start to get over someone or forget about them and then you find something and POOF! They are back in your mind. Funny how that happens :)
