"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Home Sweet Home

I totally forgot to post about my trip back to California! So, here is a recap of everything I did...
After driving nine of the thirteen hours all day Thursday...I decided that I should go do Baptisms For the Dead with a group of my friends from Danville. Let me tell you...it was SO hard to get up Friday morning! We met at 7 and carpooled over to the Oakland Temple. It was such a beautiful day! The best part about going to the temple was that the four guys we went with (Mikey, Russel, Travis, and Ryan) all had gone through the temple already and were able to do the actual work with us! They were the ones baptizing us, confirming us, recording, everything. It was a very sweet moment to watch the boys do that. Although I didn't grow up knowing them, I thought of the guys from the stake back home and how I wish we could of done a trip such as the one we did that day. It was also my last time seeing all of those boys. Travis already left on his mission to Texas, Mikey will be leaving to Guatemala July 7th, Russel heads out to Germany soon and Ryan leaves to Colorado soon as well. I'm so happy that I decided to go last minute, even though it was a struggle getting up so early in the morning.
Later that day was Richie's high school graduation! Ahhh! It was SO weird to be back at Amador watching a graduation ceremony that I was at a year ago. Just looking at the students sitting in the chairs in front of the stage reminded me of how excited I was to be sitting in those chairs. I totally didn't know graduation took that long..haha. I guess I must of been too excited to pay attention to everyone getting called on stage. Overall, it was so fun and I'm so glad I was able to drive to California to watch it! :) After graduation I got to see my BFF Katie Hume!! Oh my gosh it had been wayyyy too long since I've seen her! I missed her so much and being around her presence was so needed. We ordered queso dip at Chili's and ate it with chips in the car...in front of Chili's...hahaha we would order take out from Chili's and not eat it inside the restaurant :)

Saturday I was able to drive around and do errands and see some friends! I got some Blush (frozen yogurt) with Sarah Peterson and haha we had so much fun catching up and telling stories :) I freakin love that girl to death!! After, I was able to sneak some time to see the Clark Family and go visit my two favorite boys ever, Jayden and Mckay! Mckay was actually excited to see me! I mean...he like ran over to me and gave me a huge hug!! Haha it was definitely a first! I miss those boys so much and I can't wait to play with them once spring semester is done.

Overall, my trip to California was a success! The weather was perfect, got to see some friends, spend time with family, and get away from school for a couple of days.

A road trip isn't a road trip if you don't get at least one ticket.... :/ haha yeah, I got a freakin ticket and it sucked!
