"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Almost Perfect Day

Yesterday was such a perfect day at such a needed time! Sunday night was pretty sucky haha so to have an amazing Monday was awesome! So...this is what happened..

1. I skipped my 7:45 class to sleep which was so needed. I drove 11 of the 13 hours Sunday coming back from California so catching up on some sleep was amazing. Plus, I didn't even miss anything!
2. I took a quiz in my Heroic Journey class and got the highest score I've ever gotten on any quiz in that class which freakin rocked!
3. I had lunch with a friend where I was a bit nervous for it being awkward and the whole "friend thing" not working out since he is a shy guy. However, it was totally like any other lunch we've had and it was totally normal. It felt so good to know that the friend thing could work out! I mean, I knew it would work out on my end but I didn't know how he would react/deal with it. If being friends is the only thing that can ever happen between us...then being friends it is! :)
4. I had a test to take and all I did for it was barely finish the study guide and still managed to get a 72% on it! Haha pure luck!
5. For FHE we went to the rope course and I was able to do some climbing and free falling...it was so fun!
5. Instead of doing our traditional Domino's Pizza every Monday, Emily MADE pizza and it was the BOMB! It was seriously delish haha soooooo good
6. The weather was PERFECT! It was warm all day long. FHE ended at 8:30 and I was still in a t-shirt and shorts.
7. Danny came over and we jammed on the ukulele to practice for the Ward Talent Show Wednesday night. It was nice to sing because for me, singing is the number one way to relieve my stress.
7. I got a letter from Elder Dearden which was so fun to read. Haha he always says the cutest things in his letters :)
8. I also got an email from Paul which was so needed. He gave me some advice that couldn't of been said any better. I love how missionaries are so in-tuned with the spirit.

Now...what could of made it better was that I saw my friend Trent riding on his roommates bike which haha since the weather was beautiful, it would of been so fun to ride! He better take me on it one of these days.

So, I sent Paul an email Sunday night cause I was bummed out and needed him and this was his reply...
"I will pray for you. Just know that I already pray for you every day. Trust in Heavenly Father when things are going tough. He is just trying to teach you something." He always knows the right things to say to me. I love my best friend!
