"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

SOFTBALL CHAMPIONS!

This semester I really wanted to play a REC sport at BYU-Idaho. I figured that since it was Spring semester and EVERYONE does sports in the spring that I should get involved and be a part of the REC sports the school provides us. So, I decided to play on a softball team. I played with 2 of my roommates, one of my roommates boyfriends, and the rest of the people on the team were married couples. I remember my first game I didn't want to play. I was determined that I was going to be "busy" and that I wouldn't of had the time to play that game or the other games to come. But, my friends convinced me to do it so I did. I've never played softball in my life haha and I was so scared of embarrassing myself. Luckily, it came naturally to me (says Danny Hatch haha) and softball became something I loved to do when before it was something I was dreading to do. Everyone on our team just wanted to have fun and to just enjoy the beautiful sunshine. Although, we did have night games and some were very chilly but for the most part, it was pretty decent weather! Especially our last two games...

Yesterday we had our last two games of the season. We had only lost 1 game (which was our first game) and that was a game we should of won. We were killing them and then got super cocky and ended up losing by 1 point. I know, brutal. However, we had the chance to play this team again and we were definitely wanting to beat them this time around. It was a pretty intense game, not gonna lie. Some people were yelling at each other with frustration and you can tell that both teams wanted to win so bad. Luckily, we were able to finally beat them and then moved on to the championship game. Now, let me tell you...this team was SUPER COCKY! They totally acted like they had it in the bag, they had a group of fans with them, and they were acting like they had already won. But of course, our team manages to DESTROY them and we end up being the champions!!

Want to know what the final score to the championship game was?.....30-8. Haha! Yeah, that's what happens when you get cocky...you lose! :) We are planning on having a team BBQ where Devin (coach) will hand out our free t shirts we get from REC sports for being the champions! I love free stuff!!

I'm so glad that I played a sport this semester. I mean, it's SPRING TIME!! Who doesn't play sports...seriously. I was able to watch some guys in my ward play in their soccer games, some friends play flag football, and some friends play volleyball. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have a main football team, basketball team, volleyball team, etc but the one thing I love about BYU-I is that because we don't have one team that is "better then everyone"...it kind of brings everyone together and feel that they can be just as good as the person standing next to them. It's definitely competitive but at the end of the day...it doesn't matter who won and who lost...just as long as you had fun :)

Favorite Quote of the Day: "So...I deleted your number so I didn't have to be a bother to you anymore"...who says that? hahaha suuuuper awkward.
