"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Birthday Shout Out to Elder Paul!

Today is one of my really, really good friends birthdays...
JOSH PAUL!

Let me tell you a little bit about Josh...we have quite the history haha! Josh and I met the beginning of our junior year when he moved to Pleasanton, California. Without really knowing each other...he asks me to Homecoming. The way he asked me was beyond pathetic. HA! (don't worry, he agrees with me and I give him crap for it allll the time) It was during lunch and we were sitting on opposite ends of the table. All of sudden, he passes a note to me and I open it and it's a picture of a flower that says, "Will you go to homecoming with me?". I remember opening and starting to laugh because I honestly thought it was a joke but then looking up and seeing his face and realizing it was NOT a joke! I said yes. But, let me just mention how he didn't even draw the flower haha! What a punk. Anywhosers, he doesn't talk to me at all up until the day before the dance. I had to buy myself a corsage, I bought him a boutonniere, our dance tickets, and pictures. His mom was embarrassed and pulled me aside when we did group pictures at Braden's house how I was his first date!! So, she eventually paid me back for what he should of paid for but haha it made it even funnier how I was his first date...ever!

Then came senior year. Ok, luckily he won't be reading this for a long time but he flirted with me soo much while I was dating Paul! I remember Paul would get annoyed of Josh sometimes because he never knew when enough was enough. He always blamed it on his meds lol but somehow, I was the only person he would ever bug/flirt with when he didn't take his meds...only me. But, I still loved him :) I remember his one time he full on slapped my butt on bart right in front of Paul...yeah...that did NOT go so good haha! It's funny now looking back on it but at the time...that was probably one of the dumbest things he could of ever done! Hahahaha! Oh man...I miss him so much.

We look like babies in this picture above!! Sadly I didn't see him at all during winter break or during my visit to Provo for my birthday and during the first weekend of Spring semester :( I never got to say goodbye to him! I even tried texting him but he already got set apart! It was soo sad! I miss my joshypoo lots and I hope he is doing amazing in FRANCE! I need to write to him...I remember him telling me how it's Kim and me who write him and I need to be the friend I promised him I'd always be.

Decision: I'm going to give a shout out to a different missionary every day this week. Hopefully by doing this, it will help me be more consistent in writing to them now that I don't have school for the next four and a half months!

LOVE YOU JOSHYPOO!
