"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.
I'm a Mormon.

MIIIIIIIIIIIKKEYYY!!!!!!!

He would DIE if he knew I posted this!

Elder Michael Andersen

Mikey is by far THE funniest guy I've ever met...this was the first night we started to become friends - the night of the Rodeo. I think these are Jill's? My roommate from last semester, Lara, has the EXACT same one-sie and I SO badly wanted to take a picture of myself in them doing the exact same pose as Mikey but I never got around to it and now she's going on a mission :( I may have to go ask Jill if I could borrow them...I think it would Mikey laugh.

The reason I chose Mikey today was because I got to hear from him today! I sent him (along with my other guy friends) an email of what has been going on with my family. All of my best friends are on missions right now and it is KILLING me! So, I wanted to give him an update so he could really know how life was going for me instead of hiding it behind all the other stuff I write to him about. He's not suppose to write back via email (and says he won't ever again to me haha) but he felt like he needed to give me a little shout out. This is what he said in reply:

"Hey, olivia its sweet to hear from you. im really not supposed to write people back who are not family members, but i had to give a quick shout out to you. HOLD IN THERE! your doing great. don't ever stop bearing your testimony, being a missionary to your friends, and going to the temple. I have had a lot of run ins with people that don't believe in how we can become gods. I always tell them the following.

Do you believe that we are children of God.??
yes...
Do you have children?
yep
And don't you want to give your children everything that you have and more??รง
well yea...
So why in the world would our heavenly father not want to give us everything that he has, and more. Thats why were on earth!!! thats why we have bodies to be tested, and to eventually receive godhood, and have an eternal family.!!

be patient, and keep being strong.

You have a rock solid testimony, and i know it dosen't matter what any one else says, your a member of this church, and your always going to be.

this is prob the only e mail i will ever write you, but i felt like it was needed.
i love you, god loves you, your family loves you.

talk to you soon via paper or something...

love elder michael cooke andersen

ps.- this internet cafe I'm in is way ghetto."

Haha I love the end of his email...awkward yet so Mikey :) I miss him so much!! He is doing amazing in Guatemala and is really enjoying his mission. It's amazing how much I learn from these boys as they sacrifice their lives for 2 years to serve the Lord. They all give me so much strength. As much as I miss Mikey...I would much rather have him out on the mission field. I can't wait til dads comes home :)
