Today I spent majority of my day with Jenny O'Neill. I needed to start looking for a bridesmaid dress for
Ariel Thexton's wedding since I leave in 2 months and haha the likely hood of finding something in Rexburg is zero to slim. So, we went on a mini adventure and went to Fremont to some Thrift Stores. If anyone knows me...I'm a good driver but when it comes to following/giving directions I am directional challenge. We literally spent more time on the road finding the dang stores then we did inside them shopping haha! But, we were able to create memories and bonded so that was all that mattered :)

Jenny kept her purse on when buckling her seat belt
Haha!! Soooo funny.

We realized while driving around lost that we were right next to Eddie and Rachel's house! For those of you who are confused who everyone is...Jenny and Eddie are Paul's siblings and Rachel is his sister-in-law. So, back to the story, we gave them a call because A.) we were lost and B.) we wanted to stop by and say hi! After shopping at two stores, we stopped by at their place. They have a cute little apartment and two turtles! It was fun to see them and hang out with them. I've always been intimidated by Eddie. He
always teases me and sometimes I take it literally. He does it because he likes me and wants to see if I'm able to put up with his little mind games. At one point we were about to leave and Rachel said, "I think we should go to the Hope Station to find a dress". Eddie then repeats what she said and was like, "Hey I think we should go to the Hope Station to find a dress" which I soon replied and said, "Wait...I think we should go to the Hope Station to find a dress". Haha! Eddie then says, "I knew there was a reason why I liked you so much." It sounds so silly but it meant so much he said that! I still love Paul's family to death and hope they still feel the same way in return. I'm pretty positive they do but it's nice to get a little confirmation of it every once in a while :)
After hanging with the O'Neill gang, I went to baby-sit this new families kids! They used to be in my home ward but two years ago moved to San Ramon. Sister Florian gave them my name and number because they were looking for a sitter and now I'm their new sitter! They have three kids: Chloe who is in the 4th grade, Andre (spell check?) who is in the second grade, and Diego who is preschool. They are the cutest little bunch ever!! Diego apparently got really close to me because he tooted in front of me and on me and even danced around for me!! Ha! I love my job.
Have you found a dress??
ReplyDeleteKind of!! :) I found a peach pinky dress for 5 bucks and I'm not IN LOVE with it but it's a start! I would have to find a cover up for it though and possible something to add underneath to add some length because it doesn't completely go to my knees. But, still searching ;)
