"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Did I Really Just Do That?

Making Tombstone pizza is my thang {{yes, thang}}. I've been probably making it on my own since elementary school. It's super easy. Just set the oven to 400 degrees and let it cook for 18 minutes. Sounds easy right? Well, Ryan came over last night and we decided to make some pizza at 10pm. We raced each other to the kitchen to see who can put the pizza in the oven first and be the "nice person who got off the couch to do it all". He had put the pizza in but I had closed the oven and quickly set the timer so really, I did it all ;) We did all the things we were suppose to: set the oven to 400 and cook for 18 minutes...hours??

At first we realized that it had been a while since we had put the pizza in so I got up to check it and it looked like that. We freaked out and took it out as quickly as we could. We couldn't believe that the pizza was burnt! Ryan then says, "I knew that the oven beeped!"....what? You KNEW that the oven beeped!? We were simply just talking on the couch {{talking as in me probably ranting off about something random}} and the oven beeped and he did nothing about it?? Horrible boyfriend skills, right? Wrong. I looked at the timer and came to this lovely surprise...

17 hours and 23 minutes...Yup, it was all my fault. BUT, I blame the stupid oven timer! At my house, we use the microwave timer aka HINT, the microwave doesn't use hours. So in my mind, just literally typing in 18:00 meant 18 minutes...not hours. We then had this huge laugh about it and still ate the pizza. Surprisingly the bottom didn't burn and it was pretty good :) One thing that Ry and I talked about last night was that whatever happens, we're glad that we are still going to be friends after all of it. We both agreed that everyday since Saturday has been super fun and we want to make the last month of hanging out {{before I go back to da ho}} to be fun! He's such a great guy!
