"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

I Got My Perfect Schedule! Finally.

MWF
Natural Disasters -- 9:00-10:00
Home and Family Management -- 10:15-11:15
Family Relations -- 11:30-12:30

TTR
Doctrine and Covenants -- 9:00-10:00
Ballet -- 10:15-11:15
History/Philosophy of Education -- 11:30-12:30
Infant and Toddler Development -- 3:15-4:45

This all comes to a total of17 credits! I originally wanted 16 but I wasn't able to take a class yet until I had completed the pre req for it. So, I just added another class to my schedule but I was able to get the exact time arrangement as I wanted a few weeks back. Getting 12:30 MWF = HALLELUJAH! I think that is my favorite thing about this schedule. This is what I think I'm going to do. Monday's and Wednesday's after class I'll walk over to the plasma center and donate plasma (aka make $50 a week) and on Friday's after class I'll go to the temple. Or, I might go Saturday mornings bright and early. Who knows. Ehh, probably Saturday's. I love having a religion class on Tuesday's because I always dress up for devo and so I feel like I'm more likely to enjoy the class more when I'm in my Sunday best. I'm also SUPER stoked I got into ballet!! I was soooo worried since it was totes overfilled but haha I emailed the teacher and mentioned both Julia's and J's name which is why I'm pretty sure I got in! ;) Ohhh how I love knowing people and making connections. But seriously, 12:30 every MWF?!?! I'm so excited. Hopefully I'll be able to be a country dance instructor again this semester so I can do one service activity throughout the semester. I always have to do something service oriented; that's how I meet so many people! But, having been in Leadership for three years in high school really got me to love doing service! Lets just say that if I didn't do anything service related every semester...I would feel like a horrible individual haha. I'm pretty positive I'll be on my FHE bro's soccer team during the spring semester so that will also keep me active and involved.

Last semester I did way too much. Like, way. I was assistant manger for Stomp the Stage, I was on the Heber J. Grant Committee, a Country Dance instructor, Sunday School teacher, My Acapella, I helped judge for another Show on campus, and I was in the sewing lab at LEAST 5-7 extra hours...a week. No joke. I KILLED myself! I was never home! My two roommates didn't have class Tuesday's and Thursday's and wouldn't see me at 10pm! It was insane. Even though I loved every minute of it and met sooo many people...it was way too much. So this semester I'm going to just pick a few things: Country Dance instructor, My Acapella, and Soccer. I want to enjoy this semester because coming Fall...I'll be so busy that I'll probably be in my room all day doing homework or on campus going to different meetings.
