"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Just Call Me Mom.

Ever since I've started college, I have slowly earned the nickname as "mom" from my guy friends. I was thinking about it today and here are some of the conclusions I've come up with to why that nickname has grown on me.

* I cook them dinner whenever they are hungry
(ask my FHE brothers, they loved my food experiments!)
* I always carry a little snack in my purse in case they get hungry
* I carry a little first aid kit in my purse at all times
* I do the dishes and refuse to let them help me
* I always give them the best girl advice
* I always remind them via text, fb, or phone call on tasks
they are suppose to do in case they forget

the list goes on...

I've always loved them calling me mom! I think Mikey was the first to call me mom but he called a lot of the other girls mom too. However, he did explain to me why he personally calls me mom which was a sweet moment he has probably forgotten haha. Whenever I try some new recipe, I always want to experiment on the guys. They will always be honest with me! Or, if I learn one on my own that reminds me of my guy friends, I'm always eager to make it for them. For example, I learned how to make Rice Krispies this afternoon. A simple recipe, I know. But, do guys really know how to make them? I know they would love to eat them but do they really know to make some on their own if they wanted to? That's where "mom" comes in. I made some for the first time today for Hunter and Grace. I never realized how simple it was!

I cannot wait to make these and all my other treats/meals for...
My new FHE brothers
Ryan Guptil and Eric Tucker
Craig Adams
J Farmer and Cory Hill
My old FHE brothers
and of course...my lovely girl friends! :)
