How Firm a Foundation
Hymn #85
Yesterday on the way home from the temple this came up on my iPod. I like to listen to church music on Sundays because it brings the spirit more into my day so I always have my hymns/Sunday music/EFY playlist playing in my car {{unless my iPod is dead, then I turn on some country music. 95.7 the wolf baby}}! I had just enjoyed a really good fireside and this was the last song I listened to before I arrived home. I decided to blast it in my car and I belted the entire song. I thought to myself while singing, "Hmm..it would be funny if someone saw me in my car, belting how firm a foundation {{with windows rolled up}} thinking I was probably singing to some random song on the radio. Oh how they would be so wrong! I love the hymns. The hymns are one of the many reasons why I joined the church. I couldn't understand the scriptures when I was first investigating but I am a singer so it was easy for me to relate to the hymns. The church is true. Stop trying to think that it isn't to all those who don't believe. I've been in your shoes and trust me, stop wasting your time and turn your heart to the Lord and you WILL find your answer. Don't rely on the stupid anti-mormon websites or literature to help you "find" your answers. It is only going to give you more confusions. Trust me, I know.
