"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Mom, Help Me!

There is one thing that my future family will never, ever have - a dog. Dogs are adorable and cuddly and everything but...I swear, they are more work then kids at times! For example, I'm house sitting for this family I've known for years and they have a little dog. It's the first day and the dog decides that it's going to be constipated today - great. We're on the couch watching MADE on MTV when all of a sudden...I smell crap. I freak out and jump a little and the dog frantically scurries off the couch while dragging its butt! That was soon followed by the butt drag on the floor that dogs always do. What do I do? I call my mom. She comes over within 10 minutes and takes the dog upstairs and gives it a bath. While I started to rant off how my kids are never going to have a dog because I'm going to be the one whose going to take care of it the most out of everyone else...I realized what great of a mom I have.

My mom and I are close in a sense where we always have each others back. When it comes to using daddy's money, we keep it hush hush and if I were to of ever had sex {{before I was a member}}, I could tell her and she would take me to a clinic where I can get free condoms and birth control. That was pretty much the extent to our friendship; never told her any details of my personal life. There was no point and it was better that way to be honest haha. I snuck into Young Women's on Sunday because I wasn't {{nor am I really ever}} in the mood to sing primary songs since I don't even know 98% of them. The lesson was about families and how we need to cherish the moments we have with them now before we get older and don't have time to be with them anymore. Sister Woodwell started to talk about how she needed her parents the most once she finally got married and then started to have a family. Sounds silly but at the same time, makes common sense.

Although I baby-sit all the time and probably have more of an upper hand on how to deal/raise kids...I'm still going to need help! Last night when I was at Ry's house, Krystle and his mom were talking about the different types of baby food and what works and what doesn't and I could imagine myself talking to my mom asking the same questions. I'm going to probably be calling her everyday asking for help! She's my mom forever now! She better start getting used to the random phone calls of, "Mom, I need help. Get over here NOW!".
