I woke up to Abby talking to me at around 5:30am asking me to call Kyle to come over and give her a blessing. She has been feeling sick since Friday night and this morning it broke my heart to see how sick she was feeling. I remember waking up to her walking to the bathroom and turning the shower on at around 4:45ish. I seriously thought she was sleep walking at first but then I quickly fell back asleep before I had the chance to check on her. At about 5:45am Kyle and Nick came upstairs in our room, in their white shirts, slacks, and ties, ready to give Abby a blessing of healing. I sat up in my bed, arms folded, head bowed, eyes closed...ready for Abby to receive her blessing. It's amazing how not only is the power of the Priesthood something amazing but how two men, who probably stayed up late because church for them isn't til 1pm, were willing to come over to give a blessing to Abby. Simply amazing and such a testimony that, "...when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God." - Mosiah2:17. I am so grateful to be surrounded by amazing men who hold the priesthood and are worthy enough to exercise their priesthood. Abby, please get better soon! I love you!
♥ The Girl Who Misses The Priesthood Being In Her Home

"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

- I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

I love those boys, and i love being surrounded by men who honor the priesthood and love giving blessings. It's even more amazing to be married to one of those men. I'm excited for you to receive the same blessing one day :)
