Talk About A Headache...

today i got to go to the beautiful Sacramento Temple with chrissy!! i have been looking forward to it all week and was so happy it was finally saturday! the oakland temple is closed for 2 weeks for cleaning {{boooo!!}} and i really want to go to the temple once a week before i leave so a trip to sacramento was in check. while we were on the freeway, i happened to look to my right and i saw the giant moroni chillin in the air and got super excited!! it takes 2 hours to get there and my butt started to get numb after sitting in the car for about 30 minutes so i was very excited to finally be there. it's kind of like when you drive to rexburg. when you see the temple, you know you are ALMOST THERE and it's the best feeling in the WORLD! rexburg people...you know what i mean.

well, the temple is absolutely beautiful. walking in the celestial room my jaw literally dropped. it was stunning! i've only been to two temples and as much as the oakland temple will always be my number one...it was the most prettiest thing i have ever seen in my entire life. chrissy and i were just in complete awe...and i'm sure the people around us were able to tell it was our first time there :) it was so worth the 2 hour drive there and back! it was even worth getting lost and missing our exits countless of times. but if you ever get the chance to visit, DO ITTTT!!! you won't regret it. ahhhh...still can't believe how pretty it is haha. i was bummed when we were leaving, thinking to myself how i won't be able to do a session next week...

wait...remember how i'm going to VEGAS next week!?!?!? can't wait to visit another temple next week! woo!! i seriously love having chrissy as my temple buddy...i'm so lucky! i know that in a matter of weeks, i'm going to be calling her in tears having my breakdown moments of fear about serving a mission. there really isn't anything to be afraid of but um, it's a HUGE change in my life! away from my family and friends for 18 months is a big deal and what i'll be doing during those 18 months is an even bigger deal! i just know my self-confidence is going to gradually decrease during these next few weeks due to fear and it's going to be nice to have chrissy to remind me of things i already know and to help rebuild that confidence and help prepare me!
