"...This life is made up of little things-little things that count a great deal. I believe that the little things are of great importance in our relationship with ourselves, in our relationship with others, and in our relationship with God." - Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin

I'm just your typical girl who loves to lay around in sweats, a messy bun and spend quality time with those she loves. I've learned that it's the little things in life that makes it so beautiful. Even when life gets hard, little things like a smile or a simple "I love you" can make all the difference. I truly believe in this. Never think that your life doesn't matter - it does. It matters for eternity. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And I am a Christian.

Angel of Music

Do you ever wonder how you learned the talents that you were given? I mean, I love to sing and I know I can sing. I'm not the best or anything, but I think I'm pretty good; especially for never having any voice lessons or anything of that sort. All I ever did was do choir for 5 years in school. But, how did I learn how to sing before I took choir? I know that it was a gift from Heavenly Father but...was it something that came naturally? When you see athletes, you KNOW they practice a lot in order to get to where they are. It is very rare for someone to just I don't know, pick up a basketball and make five three pointers in a row. Usually it takes practice to do that. I have always sung around the house ever since I could remember. I even remember singing down the halls in middle school as I was walking to my next class. I just always sang. I guess there is really no reason to complain lol but I just wonder how I gained the voice that I have. Maybe it did come naturally to me. I know that harmonizing in choir wasn't a challenge for me either. I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging or anything lol I'm just writing down my thoughts...Then I start to think of other talents that I may have that don't appear as naturally as my singing. I probably have more talents then I realize. So, how do I find them? I think a way to find out what your talents are is to do a variety of things. Try out new stuff and see if you're actually good at it. If you're not good at it at first, it doesn't mean you can never be good at it or that that specific thing isn't "your talent". A lot of talents take practice, time, and dedication.

We were all given talents. Never give up on finding your own. It's there, I promise.
