Well, I just got back from my birthday trip! I was gone from Wednesday-Monday night. I went to Rexburg, Idaho to visit some friends for a few days and headed out to Provo on Friday to celebrate my birthday weekend. It was soo much fun! So much happened...some I was very surprised about and some that haha I guess can just make a good story ;)
I got to see my old roommate Sarah! She is one of my best friends from back home and I missed her dearly! We were able to catch up on all the gossip about whose with who, who hates who, and all that fun stuff girls talk about :) I also got to meet her crazy roommate! Haha I bet she wishes she had me back as a roommate...as much as I bugged her and kept her up late. It was all only out of love :) It was so fun though to reconnect with her.

Then I met Sarah's boyfriends roommate Andrew. What a cool guy! We pretty much went on a blind breakfast date. Originally it was suppose to be a double date with Sarah and Seb but..it just didn't work out. However, I still wanted to meet this guy because I figured..I meet him now or I meet him when I get back to school. We had basketball in common which is huge in my book! He was so much fun that I just had to ask him out on another date that night. We went to the park and "painted" pictures using water bottles and color dye. My friend Bowman used this idea before and I thought it was fun :) Then I took him to the Cocoa Bean for some hot drinks and a cupcake. It was perfect! Hopefully we'll pick up where we left off when I get back to school.

Then it was my birthday! That night, a few of my friends went out to dinner with me. I was really happy that I was able to go out to dinner with friends on my birthday because, that was the whole point of my trip! Not that I don't love my family or anything but, it's always fun to celebrate with friends! We went to this super good and healthy place and I definitely ordered wayyyyy too much food (kudos to mikey...not). Then I went to a small dance party with my friend Ariel. I kind of felt a little out of my element at first but then I remembered...WHO CARES! It was my birthday!! It was definitely a fun birthday!

Saturday I went to my first RUGBY game! It was soooo fun! I thought football was an intense sport...I couldn't be more wrong. My friend Ben is on the team and we got to watch him play towards the end. He did soo good! :) There was a group of people from Danville that happened to come to Provo that weekend as well so it was to nice to have a little cheering section for Ben. I also went to 5 CLASSES on my trip in one day!! Last semester I only had 3 classes a day and today I did 5! I was beyond exhausted afterwards! As much as I love that BYU has sports and there is...I guess more to do in Provo, I'm really glad I'm at BYU-Idaho. Academically, I would be doing soooo bad at Provo. Socially...now, that is never an issue with me ;) Ha! But, I feel like I can be more known at Idaho then I would at Provo. I just love how BYU-I is so much smaller, the classes are smaller, and that you are able to have a relationship with your teacher. At Provo..I'd be lucky if one teacher knew my name! I truly feel like I'm at Idaho for a reason. Luckily, the weather overall for both Rexburg and Provo was way nice! It has been a super mild winter so it was nice to be there when it really wasn't snowing :) Lucky me I suppose!
It doesn't matter where you live your life, it only matters how you live it.
