I love my job! While I am home for winter semester, I mostly baby-sit and it is seriously the best! Little kids just say the cutest things :) I want to be an elementary school teacher "when I grow up" so this is great practice for me. Even though all the kids I watch are very young and aren't around the age I want to teach...it's still very helpful because I get to learn patience and let me tell you...I have soo much patience for kids now ha! I know that sometimes I don't want to go baby-sit because I'm too tired or I want to do other things...but at the end of the day when I have to say goodbye to them..it's all worth it.

Just seeing them waving to me goodbye and blowing me kisses makes it all worth it. I know that I cannot WAIT to be a mom...but...I am definitely not having kids for a looonnngggggg time. I need to enjoy life being responsible for myself and my husband before I can be responsible for all my little munchkins. Today was a fun day to baby-sit. I took Jayden (9 or 10 years old) and McKay (2 and a half) to the park because the weather was just beautiful today! I wore jeans and a sweatshirt (only because Dublin gets pretty windy) but even then I was still hot! It was a perfect opportunity to take pictures of McKay.

McKay LOVES taking pictures with me and I think Jayden just gets sick of it haha so I usually only take pictures of McKay. Afterward, I made them macaroni and cheese for dinner and went for another last walk around the park. The boys also got to go on the trampoline and watch some TV! Sometimes it is hard to keep these boys bored but, we always find something to do. Usually during the summer it would be sooo much easier because I would either take Jayden to the skateboard park or to the swimming pool but being winter...it's a little bit more trickier on what to do to keep them busy and having fun. McKay then was in a singing mood. He couldn't stop!! I HAD to record him :) It is the cutest video of a little kid EVER!!! I love kids!
When a little child learns to say "I love you"...it truly means the world to you.
