This weekend has been
BEAUTIFUL in Rexburg. It was an average of 70 degrees this whole weekend. Tomorrow it's suppose to be 77 degrees! I think it's suppose to rain next weekend but that is not going to stop me from having fun in the sun.
However...I feel like I'm not really in school. I'm so used to being at home in California enjoying "summer vacation" when now, I'm stuck here at school. Don't get me wrong, I looooove it here in the Spring but it is such a distraction! This weekend I should of focused a lot on my homework and getting ahead of my schoolwork since I start work on Tuesday...but nope...I took advantage of the beautiful weather and went out.
Friday Night I went to the Young Ambassadors Performance. It was
SO GOOD! I love singing and so this was a real treat. They sang and dance and acted as well. It's funny, whenever you know you have a talent and people tell you you are so good at it, you get c

onfident. But then when you see people who can sing a million times better then you...hahaha your talent doesn't seem as "special" anymore if you know what I mean. Sometimes I feel like that but haha Friday night I definitely did. They were just so amazing and I was so jealous of their talent but at the same time...I was so glad they were actually using their talent and not wasting it. I hope they come back to perform because it was so much fun to watch. After, Emily and I watched 2 episodes of One Tree Hill while I could of easily of done my homework. Haha darn One Tree Hill! It is soooo good that it is so hard to avoid it and do my studies. I've actually haven't been watching it a lot lately which is good but whenever I have free time...my mind immediately turns to One Tree Hill. Sooo so good.
Saturday afternoon I went SHOOTING! Yes....I shot with a gun haha. It was SO MUCH FUN! I was way stoked about it on the ride there and everything but once I saw the guns

...not going to lie...I got a tad bit nervous. I shot with a hand gun and a shot gun. The hand gun...haha yeah I didn't hold on to it as tight as I should of so after I shot it, it kind of took my body with it. I also shot a clay pigeon in the air on my second try! There was about 10 of us that went so it was a decent size group! Eric was telling us on the way home that he was a little nervous about taking 5 girls but how proud he was of us in the end for doing so great :) Haha it's funny, I never thought I would ever go shooting let alone hold a real gun. That is why I love Idaho so much and that I'm so glad I'm going here. My family aren't the out doors type of people so this is all new to me. I want to marry a cowboy so bad so he can take me out shooting and camping and all that fun stuff haha.
Today was just a nice relaxing day. We had Stake Conference at 10 and I wrote down a lot of good advice from the speakers. They talked a lot about family and The Book of Mormon and it was all stuff that I needed to hear. I love it when that happens, you go to church thinking you don't really need any counsel because life is going good but then you hear the counsel they give you and you realize "oh crap...I have a lot to do" haha. Those are at times the best moments in church. I'm going to end the night by going Stadium Singing and hopefully go to bed?....yeah...right.
