it's funny, i used to be obsessed with blogging {{okayyyy...still am}} and with my departure date sneaking up from behind me...i've found myself too busy to catch anyone up with my life! today i am having my farewell party and i'm excited to see some familiar faces :) it was super short notice but hey, gotta get a goodbye in at some point! two weekends ago i said goodbye to my best friend katie...last night i said goodbye to my other best friend brett bower :( they are seriously getting harder and harder...but the weird thing is is that i still don't feel like i'm leaving yet. it hasn't hit me. reality hasn't sunk in yet. i'm going to assume it'll either be on the airplane to utah, my brother dropping me off at the MTC, or waking up on my first morning there and thinking "okay...it's game time". i really am SO excited to go and meet the other sisters in LA and to give tours and to TEACH! i love teaching the gospel and i can't wait to do it 24/7.

1. disneyland was so much fun. lots of good laughs...that's for sure :)

2. got into BYU!!! bahhh!!!

4. went to victoria's secret and grabbed my free pair of undies ;)

5. my skirt finally came in the mail!

6. i leave in almost 2 weeks

7. ummmm...LOTS of people came to my farewell talk! sooo grateful for the love and support

8. 212 pages til i'm done with the Book of Mormon! started the goal on christmas day to finish it by the time i report to the MTC (march 14th...lol)

9. farewell party is a for sure now for THIS saturday. woo!

the good old days.

just got back from socal and i have the biggest headache of my life! so, what do i decide to do? things that will give me unnecessary stress :( i randomly decided i would go through my computer and put all the things i want to be saved (while i'm on the mish) onto one folder and pretty much just organize my computer...talk about a lot of junk! i don't know why i kept half of the stuff i did. anywhosers, i was going through pictures of high school and picked out a few {{okay...more then a few...}} that i liked and brought back good memories. so, enjoy!

♥ The Girl Who Is Starting To Freak Out

This Is Hard.

like really, i hate waiting for an acceptance. i still haven't heard back... wahhh :( maybe i didn't get in? i mean, i did turn in my application three days prior to the due date haha whoops. i just want to know what the outcome is so i know whether or not to prep my mom and show her how to apply so she can do it again when i'm gone. also, getting up at 6:30am every day has been tough. oh yeahh -- i started as of february 14th to get up every morning at 6:30 and try to be in bed by 10:30pm. being in bed by 10:30 hasn't quite happened yet lol which is why i think during my days i hit a moment where i just crash. i just took an hour nap and i could of slept more if i wanted to but i have to finish my talk!...another thing that's stressing me out. i'm giving my farewell talk this sunday and i haven't even finished it yet...let alone have a rough draft. sure, it's only wednesday, but um...you see, i leave for SOCAL tomorrow anddddd i will not be bringing my computer to work on something during family vacation. so, i have to finish it by tonight. and it doesn't help richie is coming home tonight and i'm too excited to focus! 

it's also hard to find time for friends. i feel like i'm constantly bailing on them because i really am busy and have last minute things to do in prepping for leaving. plus, family time is crucial right now and i need to use my extra time with them. the weeks are starting to go by extremely quickly...it's kind of starting to scare me haha. i think i just need to get to the MTC and i'll be fine. but until that moment...i'm just going to continue stressing out haha

like, really?

lets be honest, i can be a very mean driver. if people get in my way or they do something extremely stupid i immediately start talking to them from the inside of my car {{as if they can hear me...}} and tell them how stupid they are. well, it gets worse when you have a kid in the car. every time i have a kid in the car i'm an even more cautious driver. 

for example.

yesterday i was taking mckay to chuckie cheese. as we were pulling up to a light where we needed to take a right turn, this girl is pulling out of safeway, i SWEAR she sees me, and takes initiative to still pull out RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! i honked my horn at her {{twice}} and couldn't believe it. HELLOOOO! i have a CHILD in the car what the crap do you think you're doing!? i understand that it's not like people are purposely driving like idiots but come onnnnnnnn...learn how to drive! when you have someone as adorable as him in your car:

you take that extra step to get mad at stupid drivers.

all i want to know is if i got into BYU...THAT'S ALL! can't they just let me know if i got accepted or denied yet? i mean, you're k.i.l.l.i.n.g me BYU...in 10-12 days i should know. oh my gosh i'm freaking out. crossing my fingers!!! :)

The Vow.

Tonight I went and saw The Vow with a few girls from the ward. It was fun to have a girls night and watch an adorable movie and grab some dinner afterwards! Personally, I think the Notebook was better but the movie was still nonetheless SO CUTE! I couldn't help but just wish that I was freakin Rachel McAdams haha! It's just one of those movies that you hope you never have your spouse, not only get in a horrible accident but lose complete memory of you. So sad! 

After the movie we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for some din din. It was fun because us girls talked about our boy interests/love life and haha I feel like I'm on this restricted order where I can't do anything or pursue anything until after I come home. Which, is really how I want it and like it but I just eat up everyone else's conversations about their love lives and vicariously live through them ha! Tonight's movie just made me excited for when I come home from my mission and I get to start my own love story.

Thursday's True Confession.

I've had a trail of tampons following me before...

When I was a sophomore, I was on my way to homecoming skit practice and for some reason, my friend had me carrying this box of tampons. I can't remember if I needed some and she just brought the entire box for me or what but the point of the matter is, i had a box of tampons in my hands. I tried to hide it as I was walking to the meeting spot and thought I'd be sneaky if I put it under my sweatshirt. Before I even got half way to the classroom, my friend gasps and I hear some boys laughing. I turn around and notice that there was a trail of tampons leading up to me. Clearly, the box was open and I was stupidly holding it upside down. I was mortified! The upperclassmen boys were laughing and my friend and I quickly ran and collected all of them and put them back in the box. To this day, I still have anxiety when I even try to sneak one tampon with me to the bathroom in fear that it'll fall out of my pocket -- actually, that has also happened to me before. Also embarrassing.
